A-HARVESTCAM® brings real-time AI intelligence to primary processing. Ace Aquatec’s AI-powered A-HARVESTCAM® gives processors instant visibility of fish weight, quality and yield, delivering better data and better margins.

Ace Aquatec’s A-HARVESTCAM® is bringing greater commercial certainty to primary processing, giving processors an accurate, real-time picture of the fish coming through their lines and the product available to sell.

Using AI-powered computer vision, A-HARVESTCAM® automatically counts and weighs fish while assessing weight distribution, quality and harvest performance. This gives processors earlier insight into differences between stocks, allowing them to adapt production, optimise yield and allocate product to the most valuable markets.

Crucially, Ace’s proprietary A-HARVESTCAM® also provides ground-truth harvest data that can feed back to Ace Aquatec’s A-BIOMASS® in-water cameras. Using a patented method to compare what was estimated in the pen with what is measured at harvest, Ace Aquatec’s weight-estimation algorithms can be continually refined, helping producers improve biomass accuracy and plan future harvests with greater confidence.

For commercial teams, knowing the volume, size and quality of fish available improves customer planning, reduces unexpected downgrades and minimises the need for last-minute spot sales.

All data is available through Ace Aquatec’s A-FISHIQ® platform, creating a live view across lines and sites. This replaces labour-intensive manual measurement with consistent, actionable data.

It also supports post-harvest traceability and automated reporting for processors and certification bodies.

The technology can also connect with Ace Aquatec’s A-HSU® in-water stunning system, using post-stun monitoring to provide feedback on stun efficacy and support welfare verification and compliance.

The technology is already being used by Scottish salmon producer Scottish Sea Farms, and quality seafood processor Aquascot, alongside a number of Salmon companies in Chile.
