ACE AQUATEC SUCCESSFUL FIRST SENA

Ace Aquatec successful first SENA. Scottish aquaculture technology supplier, Ace Aquatec, attended their first North American exposition at Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts last week.
Ace Aquatec’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Mike Forbes, and Commercial and Marketing Specialist, Michelle Wildeboer, attended the event, which is regarded as North America’s largest seafood exposition.
At Seafood Expo North America, the company introduced their award-winning Humane Stunner Universal (HSU) to the North American market. The HSU is an in-water electric stunning system that can stun up to 100 metric tons of fish per hour. Forbes said that Ace Aquatec are delighted by the leads and opportunities to bring electric stunning to North American lobster and crab farmers and the growing RAS market.
Alongside the HSU, Ace Aquatec also introduced their new Electric Fish, which is a predator solution for areas that have regulations in place against acoustic deterrents. Another product that received a great deal of interest was Ace Aquatec’s biomass estimation system, the BioCam 3D, which uses revolutionary time-of-flight technology that captures biomass in real-time and will be available later this year.
Ace Aquatec will also be attending Seafood Expo Global in Brussels, Belgium on 7-9 May at stand 4-6105 and Aqua Nor in Trondheim, Norway on 20-23 August.
