America’s favourite salmon brand, Latitude 45, gains global recognition at the Seafood Global Excellence Awards. Latitude 45, the No. 1 selling smoked salmon brand in the U.S., has been named a finalist in the Best Retail Product category of the 2024 Seafood Excellence Global Awards for its newest product innovation, Latitude 45 Smoked Salmon Candy Bites, bringing the brand recognition on an international stage. The product recently debuted at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston on March 10 – 12 and has been a huge success with consumers since its introduction to the U.S. market in October 2023. Winners of the 2024 Seafood Excellence Global Awards will be announced April 23 during the 30th edition of the Seafood Expo Global taking place April 23 – 25 in Barcelona, Spain.
Latitude 45 has dominated the U.S. market for the last two years consecutively, being the No. 1 favourite smoked salmon brand for consumers – a statement backed by Nielsen data.

Latitude 45 Smoked Salmon Candy Bites is one of 40 award finalists selected from the 85 submissions in this year’s competition representing 15 countries from around the world. All seafood products entered for the awards competition will be displayed during the three-day event in the Seafood Excellence Global stand located in Galleria, between halls 4 and 5. Two grand prizes will be awarded for the Best Retail Product and the Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product and four special awards will be presented for innovation, convenience, retail packaging and seafood product line.
