CAT ATTENDING AQUACULTURE UK IN GLASGOW THIS WEEK – WILL YOU BE THERE?

CAT attending Aquaculture UK in Glasgow this week – will you be there? Alejandro Gutierrez, Centre for Aquaculture Technologies (CAT)’s Genetic Services Lead for Europe, will be taking the opportunity to meet with both existing and prospective clients throughout the event. It’s a chance to discuss your breeding programme objectives, explore current challenges, and receive expert advice on selecting the right genomic tools.

CAT currently supports more than 20 breeding programmes globally across a wide range of aquatic species. Backed by a portfolio of over 50 genotyping and sequencing tools, we help producers improve disease resistance, growth, robustness, and long-term sustainability through breeding programs tailored to their specific goals.

Genomics is one of the most powerful tools available to the aquaculture industry. Combined with robust data analysis and practical breeding expertise, it can help producers make more informed decisions and accelerate genetic gain within their populations.

If you’d like to learn more about how CAT can support your breeding programmes, they would be delighted to meet with you whilst in Glasgow.
