CHICKEN OF THE SEA INTERNATIONAL NAMES ANDY MECS AS EVP

Chicken of the Sea International Names Andy Mecs as EVP

In this new role, Mecs will have oversight of multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.  He will be working in tandem with the key department leaders in each functional area. Mecs will report to Bryan Rosenberg, President & CEO, Thai Union North America (TUNA).

“Andy has more than 17 years of experience in CPG with the vast majority of his experience all within the seafood sector.  His outstanding accomplishments on the commercial side of the business are well documented.  We believe that with Andy’s experience and vision, he is a tremendous addition to the outstanding team we currently have in place at COSI,” said, Bryan Rosenberg, President & CEO TUNA.

A Pittsburgh native, Mecs has spent the majority of his career with StarKist, successfully rising through the ranks, experiencing, and impacting multiple aspects of the business from trade marketing, field sales, corporate affairs to product innovation, eventually rising to the position of Vice President of Marketing & Innovation (CMO).

Mecs received his BA in Business and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and his JD/MBA from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
