CROWN PRINCE OF NORWAY AND FISHERIES MINISTER DISCUSS DNV’S AI PLATFORM

Crown Prince of Norway and Fisheries Minister discuss DNV’s AI Platform for Smarter Compliance in Aquaculture at Aqua Nor.  At Aqua Nor, the world’s meeting place for the aquaculture industry, DNV presented its new Smarter Compliance platform, an AI-driven platform that gives Norwegian fish farmers complete visibility and control over their regulatory compliance. The automated processes will streamline documentation, enhance control, and simplify data sharing with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators, when needed.

Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Marianne Sivertsen Næss, met with DNV’s Director of Aquaculture, Thomas Vogth-Erikssen and Director of Norway Aquaculture Operations, Mads Arild Eidem, at the DNV Stand to learn more about the technology.

Vogth-Erikssen said the Crown Prince was ‘well prepared and highly engaged’. He asked about customer interest in the solution and discussed how DNV’s global network helps to strengthen its aquaculture initiatives.

The Minister of Fisheries, who has met DNV on several occasions in Norway and abroad, was already well informed on the services DNV offers. She discussed its role in supporting the Norwegian government white paper that was announced in April, reflecting on DNV’s close collaboration with the government on regulatory compliance to further advance Norwegian aquaculture and set benchmarks for the global aquaculture sector to follow.
