SUMMARY:HAVEXPO 2026
DESCRIPTION:HavExpo 2026 is an international trade fair for Norwegian aquaculture and fisheries\, which will be held for the third time in May 2026\, and promises to be the biggest and best edition so far.\n\nThe three-day fair will present the marine industries in a clear and engaging way\, complemented by an exciting programme of lectures and seminars. \nHavExpo 2026 is set to be the most impressive trade fair for the aquaculture and fisheries industries to date\, with significant expansions and improvements based on experience and feedback from previous events. \nStrong growth and great interest \nAlready three-quarters of a year before the fair opens on 5–7 May 2026\, more than 85 per cent of the exhibition space has been sold. This comes despite the area having been expanded by a full 30 per cent compared with 2024. The average stand size has also grown considerably\, signalling strong confidence in the event among exhibitors. \nMajor investment in new facilities \nHavExpo 2026 will feature a brand new 500-seat conference hall with full staging\, situated between Hall A and Hall C. In addition\, the registration area will be more efficient\, and greater emphasis will be placed on catering options for visitors. \nAnother important development is that the organisers will significantly improve visitor data collection\, making fully analysed data available to exhibitors. This will make it easier to assess and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for exhibitors. \nPractical preparations underway \nBergen Expo has opened its online shop for ordering furniture and equipment for stands. The shop opened on 1 August 2025\, with an order deadline of 1 April 2026. The system is designed to make it simple for suppliers to process orders\, select the correct items and deliver them directly to each stand. \nHotel accommodation \nBergen is a large city with a good supply of hotel accommodation\, but it is still recommended to book well in advance. The organisers have reserved a number of rooms with several hotel chains and negotiated what they consider to be favourable rates. This ensures there will be sufficient accommodation available at normal prices during the fair. Exhibitors are\, of course\, free to book independently or through company agreements\, but they may also take advantage of the reserved rooms. \nThe HavExpo website provides an overview of the reserved hotels\, along with details of their distance from the shuttle bus routes. \nThe exhibition is organised by HavExpo AS\, a company owned by Sotra Sportsklubb and AqKva AS. \nSource \n
