SUMMARY:AQUAFUTURE SPAIN 2025
DESCRIPTION:Aquafuture Spain 2025 \nA Milestone in Aquaculture Innovation\nDates: May 20-22\, 2025 \nLocation: Ifevi Exhibition Centre\, Vigo \nThe third edition of Aquafuture Spain\, set to take place from May 20 to 22\, 2025 at the Ifevi exhibition centre in Vigo\, has reached a major milestone by securing 200 exhibitors from 27 countries—surpassing initial expectations and solidifying its position as a leading event in the global aquaculture industry. \nThis impressive achievement marks a 33% increase in exhibitors compared to the first two editions\, reflecting the event’s growing influence. The decision to move the fair to Vigo in 2023 and establish it as a biennial event has clearly paid off. “With five months remaining before the event\, we’ve already met our initial goals and continue to receive an overwhelming number of requests\, prompting us to expand the event’s capacity\,” said Juan Lijó\, the director of the fair. \nA Rapidly Expanding Event\nThe rising interest in Aquafuture Spain is not only evident in the increased number of exhibitors but also in the growing demand for attendance. The organisers are expecting over 8\,000 visitors across the three days of the fair\, driven by an expanded programme and the event’s increasing international appeal. \nThe fair’s success is also underpinned by the support of key regional and national institutions\, including Xunta de Galicia\, Diputación de Pontevedra\, Concello de Vigo\, Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Vigo\, and Abanca. These institutions have emphasised the significance of holding Spain’s only aquaculture trade fair in Galicia\, a region central to the aquaculture industry. \nA Comprehensive Programme of Presentations and Conferences\nAquafuture Spain extends beyond just exhibition booths. The event will feature an enhanced programme with more than 80 international speakers and a range of parallel activities designed to foster knowledge exchange and innovation. \nTwo dedicated presentation rooms will allow exhibitors to showcase their products\, research\, and technological advancements. In addition\, a Conference Room will host seven round tables addressing strategic topics crucial to the international aquaculture sector. \nGrowth and Global Recognition\nAs Aquafuture Spain continues to grow\, it is firmly establishing itself as a vital meeting point for the global aquaculture community\, drawing in companies\, researchers\, and professionals from all over the world. This growth highlights Galicia’s role as a hub for innovation in the aquaculture industry and reinforces Spain’s standing as a leader in this sector. \nFor further information and accreditation details\, visit the official event website \nMore Information

SUMMARY:HAVEXPO 2026
DESCRIPTION:HavExpo 2026 is an international trade fair for Norwegian aquaculture and fisheries\, which will be held for the third time in May 2026\, and promises to be the biggest and best edition so far.\n\nThe three-day fair will present the marine industries in a clear and engaging way\, complemented by an exciting programme of lectures and seminars. \nHavExpo 2026 is set to be the most impressive trade fair for the aquaculture and fisheries industries to date\, with significant expansions and improvements based on experience and feedback from previous events. \nStrong growth and great interest \nAlready three-quarters of a year before the fair opens on 5–7 May 2026\, more than 85 per cent of the exhibition space has been sold. This comes despite the area having been expanded by a full 30 per cent compared with 2024. The average stand size has also grown considerably\, signalling strong confidence in the event among exhibitors. \nMajor investment in new facilities \nHavExpo 2026 will feature a brand new 500-seat conference hall with full staging\, situated between Hall A and Hall C. In addition\, the registration area will be more efficient\, and greater emphasis will be placed on catering options for visitors. \nAnother important development is that the organisers will significantly improve visitor data collection\, making fully analysed data available to exhibitors. This will make it easier to assess and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for exhibitors. \nPractical preparations underway \nBergen Expo has opened its online shop for ordering furniture and equipment for stands. The shop opened on 1 August 2025\, with an order deadline of 1 April 2026. The system is designed to make it simple for suppliers to process orders\, select the correct items and deliver them directly to each stand. \nHotel accommodation \nBergen is a large city with a good supply of hotel accommodation\, but it is still recommended to book well in advance. The organisers have reserved a number of rooms with several hotel chains and negotiated what they consider to be favourable rates. This ensures there will be sufficient accommodation available at normal prices during the fair. Exhibitors are\, of course\, free to book independently or through company agreements\, but they may also take advantage of the reserved rooms. \nThe HavExpo website provides an overview of the reserved hotels\, along with details of their distance from the shuttle bus routes. \nThe exhibition is organised by HavExpo AS\, a company owned by Sotra Sportsklubb and AqKva AS. \nSource \n
