FRESHWATER TECHNICIAN

Freshwater Technician, Isle of Mull

As some of our existing freshwater team prepare to relocate to our forthcoming state-of-the-art hatchery in Barcaldine near Oban, we’re now looking for a talented Freshwater Technician to join our Knock Hatchery on the beautiful island of Mull.

About you
Ideally, you will have a background in Atlantic salmon and will be able to demonstrate competence across a wide range skills including fish health monitoring, stock appetite assessment, grading, vaccinating, egg incubation and feeding systems, whilst being proactive in health and safety.

About the role
If successful, you can expect a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1:4 weekend working and alarm duty rota system. A current driving licence is essential.
