GOAL 2021 Keynote Address: Árni Mathiesen. Árni Mathiesen will give the keynote address on the Blue Economy as part of the eighth and final GOAL 2021 virtual event on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 8 a.m. EST. Mathiesen is a Senior Advisor at the Iceland Ocean Cluster, former Assistant Director-General of the UN Food & Agriculture Organisation’s Fisheries & Aquaculture Department and former Minister of Fisheries for Iceland. He is also a Global Seafood Alliance board member. Following his keynote address, Mathiesen will be joined by GSA Founder and President Dr. George Chamberlain for a question-and-answer discussion.
