ICEFISH 2026 SET TO WELCOME A STRONG INTERNATIONAL LINE-UP

IceFish 2026 set to welcome a strong international line-up

The Icelandic Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition and Conference, better known as IceFish, combines the best of Iceland’s commercial fishing and aquaculture with a growing, strong international presence.

This year the event will feature pavilions from Denmark and the Faroe Islands in addition to exhibitors from fifteen other countries, including Argentina, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA.

The Danish Pavilion is always a vibrant part of IceFish and this year will be no exception. Fifteen Danish companies have already confirmed their attendance. These include Plast Solutions, A-Consult, Wapro, Gravotech, Beckhoff, Landia, Plast-Line, Atlantic Shipping, Dania Plast, Oxymat, CS Pipe, KD, Randers Reb, Runi and Karstensens.

The Pavilion is hosted by the Danish Export Association which, since 1965, has been assisting companies to expand globally with market insights, advisory support, and new connections. Networking is in the Association’s DNA and IceFish is the perfect event for Danish exhibitors to connect with Icelandic partners and the wider audience.

The Faroese Pavilion includes KJ-Hydraulic, a company offering expertise in hydraulics and machinery; supplying and servicing equipment for the fishing and aquaculture industries. As one of the bigger machinery companies in the Faroe Islands, KJ-Hydraulic also supplies equipment and services to international markets, including Iceland, Scotland, Shetland, Denmark and Norway.

Joining KJ-Hydraulic are Vónin, MEST Shipyard and Fishfacts. Vónin is famed for its Twister trawl doors and is a major developer and manufacturer of high-quality fishing gear and aquaculture equipment.   Long established Shipyard, MEST is currently building the largest catamaran in the Faroe Islands for MOWI.  Fishfacts provides real-time intelligence on over 14,000 fishing vessels, combining satellite AIS tracking, vessel data, and ocean conditions and connecting service providers directly with decision makers in the global fishing industry.

Regular visitors to IceFish will find key familiar names including Hampidjan, Kælismiðjan Frost, Samhentir and Ísfell Aquaculture and Fishery.

In the processing and value-added sector zone IceFish welcomes back JBT Marel, Kapp ehf, Baader and Sæplast with iTUB, Tempra.

In addition to being the event for Iceland’s established commercial fishing businesses IceFish has always been valuable for smaller and start up enterprises. The 2026 event features an attractive Small Business zone which is rapidly expanding to accommodate companies from Iceland and further afield.

All attending companies can take advantage of the IceFish B2B Matchmaking feature, organised by Enterprise Europe Network in Iceland and coordinated by The Icelandic Centre for Research – Rannis

It’s a popular feature and at the last exhibition, in 2024, there were 98 successful meetings. The focused 20-minute meetings with stakeholders can be selected and confirmed in advance, and offer the opportunity to establish new cross-border contacts and meet with potential business partners
