12 DAYS OF FISHMAS, PUTTING SEAFOOD ON YOUR RADAR THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

12 Days of Fishmas, putting seafood on your radar this holiday season. As Black Friday deals wind down, holiday savings aren’t stopping at Pacific Seafood. The countdown is on to the ’12 Days of Fishmas!

Every day from December 1st to December 12th, Pacific Seafood will reveal one surprise for seafood lovers on our social media pages. Gifts include recipes that are so good they may replace the tradition holiday ham. There’s even a gift card giveaway!

Bill Hueffner, Vice President, Marketing and Development, along with additional background on Pacific Seafood, told us how he came up with this fun idea:

“The idea came from the question: “How can we surprise and delight seafood lovers this holiday season?’ We wanted to find value in connecting with our customers beyond the dinner table and developing new ways to bring people together through food. The 12 Days of Fishmas keeps Pacific Seafood top-of-mind with shoppers and lightly encourages them to enjoy delicious seafood this holiday season. We think ‘The 12 Days of Fishmas’ resonates because it’s a non-intrusive invitation to enjoy some holiday spirit; typically, a welcome change after being inundated with Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions.”

Pacific Seafood and Sustainability:

Pacific Seafood believes it is our responsibility to serve our oceans through a continuous commitment to sustainable fishing practices that protect our fisheries. The US is a global leader in responsibly managed fisheries and sustainable seafood, and Pacific Seafood is proud to play a large part in that process. Managing wild capture fisheries is a dynamic process that requires frequent adaptation and change as new information and science becomes available. We work collaboratively with the NOAA Fisheries Science Centres, the Regional Fishery Councils, Departments of Fish and Wildlife in each state where we operate, state environmental departments and the NOAA Fisheries Policy Division to ensure our fisheries are robust and our stocks are sustainable long into the future.
