NEW SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTOR FOR THAI UNION

New sustainability director for Thai Union. Adam Brennan has been appointed as Group Director, Sustainability at Thai Union Group, effective October 2021.

Adam has extensive global leadership experience in driving through impactful sustainability and environmental programs. At Thai Union, Adam is responsible for driving the Company’s global sustainability strategy, SeaChange®. This includes a strong focus on initiatives such as Thai Union’s Tuna Commitment, Sustainable Packaging Commitment and Climate Change Strategy. All of these initiatives are key contributors to the Company’s 2025 strategy and align with Thai Union’s corporate goal of Healthy Living, Healthy Oceans.

Previously, Adam has served on the Board of Directors of the “Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Foundation”, and also lead the Environmental Stewardship Function for C&A, a leading global fashion retailer. In the latter role, Adam’s scope covered global supply chain sustainability operations, embedding environmentally responsible initiatives into corporate strategy that cascades into daily operations.

Adam received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Harper Adams University College and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy: Technology & Sustainability from the University of Reading.
