Easy air fryer trout fillets. Air fryers are great for cooking fillets of trout effortlessly as the outside quickly sears while the inside stays moist and juicy. With a little seasoning and only a touch of oil you’ll have perfectly cooked trout in just 10 minutes – ideal for quick and healthy meals.

Ingredients
2 trout fillets (around 110g each)
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch salt
Pinch ground pepper
Pinch paprika or Cajun seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 180C if necessary for your model.
- Mix the salt, pepper and paprika on a small plate. Coat the trout lightly in oil, then roll in the seasonings.
- Place in the air fryer basket in one layer (skin side down) and cook for 8-10 minutes until flaky and the skin is crisp. Sprinkle over the parsley if using and serve with a pouch of microwave rice or mixed grains and your choice of veg.
