HALF-TERM BY THE SEA: FRESH SEAFOOD & FAMILY DINING AT ROCKFISH

HALF-TERM BY THE SEA

Half-term by the sea: Fresh seafood & family dining at Rockfish. With February half-term approaching, families heading to the South West can enjoy relaxed meals at Rockfish, which offers a dedicated Children’s Menu priced at £9.95 including a side and gelato.

Founded by chef Mitch Tonks, Rockfish serves sustainably sourced British seafood landed daily from Brixham Fish Market. Fish caught in the morning is served at lunch for an exceptionally fresh coastal dining experience.

Children can choose between Crisp-fried Brixham fish bites, Grilled local fish, Free-range chicken or Fried halloumi sticks. There’s also an Ocean Protector Pack (£10.95) with puzzles, games and ocean-themed activities, plus a recipe card to try cooking fish at home.

For parents, the Seasonal Set Menu (£23.95 for two courses) features dishes such as Smoked haddock and bacon chowder; Firecracker prawn cocktail; Lyme Bay mussels; and Chargrilled Cumbrian chicken leg. Guests can add a first glass of Rockfish house wine for £2.50 or dessert of the day for £5.

From fossil beaches to harbour walks and coast paths, the South West makes for fresh-air half-term adventures, with Rockfish offering an easy place to pause for lunch or an early supper by the water.
