INNOVATION AT ITS BEST ON PAVILION OF DENMARK AT SEAFOOD PROCESSING GLOBAL

Innovation at its best on Pavilion of Denmark at Seafood Processing Global (SPG) in Barcelona, 6-8 May 2025. 38 Danish companies form Pavilion of Denmark at SPG 2025 and bring exciting new solutions to the fish processing, aquaculture and fisheries industry.
Looking for the newest and most innovative products and solutions in the fish processing, aquaculture and fisheries industry? Pavilion of Denmark at SPG 2025 got it!
This year 38 Danish exhibitors join Pavilion of Denmark to showcase their technology, equipment, feed, packaging and services that e.g. can reduce costs, save energy and bring fish farming, catching and processing to the next level.
“The Danish attendance at SPG shows that the exhibition is an essential place for Danish companies to showcase their products and strengthen relations with the most important stakeholders in the industry,” says Martin Winkel Lilleoere, Head of Fish Tech at Danish Export Association, who organise Pavilion of Denmark.
Solving the off-flavour problem
Farming land based salmon near to the consumers has been on the global aquaculture agenda for decades. One of the 38 exhibitors to be found at Pavilion of Denmark, CM Aqua, develop and manufacture solutions making this possible.
Using RAS technology for full size salmon with premium quality require careful particle control and efficient removal of off-flavour components as geosmin. HEX drum filters remove up to 90% of all particles in the water and feature, as an example, a hassle-free filter panel exchange system. Adding the Ratz Protein Skimmer, using ozone to minimise bacteria growth, the water gets purified to get the salmon taste we love.
“We’ve been testing this set-up in China together with other stakeholders in the industry. The results we’ve achieved are amazing and means that fish farmers globally can avoid the geosmin problem and produce fish of a much higher quality,” says Mikael Denhardt, CEO at CM Aqua.
User-friendly monitoring of water quality
Monitoring the water quality is essential to achieving healthier and better fish and reducing down time and maintenance costs. With a wide range of products and systems, OxyGuard has a solution for your every need when it comes to monitoring water quality. OxyGuard’s solutions range from hand-held meters to complete process control systems and are used across the globe, from small fish farms to large-scale operations.
In Barcelona, OxyGuard will showcase the Polaris C Line, an upgraded series of hand-held meters designed for water quality monitoring in aquaculture and other industries. The line includes nine models: DO, LDO, TGP, Salinity, pH, Redox, Atmosphere, MaxiTemp, and CO₂, as well as high-range versions for DO, CO₂, and Atmosphere.
Polaris C meters are waterproof, durable, and built to handle tough conditions. They feature Bluetooth and NFC for easy data transfer and Cobália integration, allowing users to access, manage and analyse data in the cloud-based aquaculture platform. The meters are now also USB-C rechargeable, and a new probe exchange system makes it easy to replace probes (to the same probe type), reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
“The focus for OxyGuard has always been on delivering practical, high-quality solutions to the aquaculture industry. With Polaris C, we’re offering tools that simplify daily tasks while ensuring reliable, accurate measurements—vital for effective water quality management,” says Paw Petersen, CEO at Oxyguard.
