2024 SEAFOOD EXCELLENCE ASIA AWARDS WINNERS

2024 Seafood Excellence Asia Awards winners. Seafood Expo Asia, organised by Diversified Communications, announced the winner of the 2nd annual Seafood Excellence Asia awards at the three-day seafood trade event taking place from 4-6 September in Singapore. Vinh Hoan Corporation (Vietnam) won the Best New Product award for its retail product Lucky Bag. The awards for second and third place for Best New Product were given to Fisher Farms, Incorporated (Philippines) for its Corn and Coconut Breaded Shrimp and Tzukuan Fisheries Association (Taiwan) for its Fish Soup- Gogi Flavor.
The Seafood Excellence Asia awards recognise the product leaders in the Asian seafood market. The winners were selected from a group of finalists representing new products from around the world. The winning products were judged based on several criteria, including eating experience, packaging, market potential, originality and convenience.
A live judging took place in the Product Showcase by a panel of high-volume seafood buyers and industry experts from the retail and foodservice industries across Asia. The judges of the 2024 Seafood Excellence Asia awards included Emart from South Korea, ITM Alimentaire International from Thailand and Jockey Fine Food Limited from Hong Kong.
The Seafood Excellence Asia awards is an extension of the Seafood Excellence awards featured at Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Expo Global, which consist of seafood buyers tasting, judging and selecting the best seafood products in the retail and HORECA (hotel/restaurant/catering) sectors.
