BAKKAFROST SCOTLAND CELEBRATES WIN AT PRESTIGIOUS SCDI AWARDS

Bakkafrost Scotland celebrates win at prestigious SCDI awards. Bakkafrost Scotland has won the award for Excellence in International Business at the prestigious annual SCDI Highlands and Islands Awards.
This award celebrates businesses working in the Highlands and Islands that demonstrate outstanding achievements in the global marketplace, involving a successful export strategy that underpins growth and the ability to innovate, as well as break into new markets.
Scottish provenance is at the heart of the business. Bakkafrost Scotland produces around 25,000 tonnes of Scottish salmon a year, and exports to around 26 countries, ranging from North America to the Far East.
The export strategy aims to create long-term partnerships and Bakkafrost works with many specialist retailers, leading chefs, premium restaurants and high-end foodservice customers who are passionate about provenance, traceability, quality and sustainability.
