FIND HIGH QUALITY DANISH SOLUTIONS FOR THE AQUACULTURE INDUSTRY IN TRONDHEIM

Find high quality Danish solutions for the aquaculture industry in Trondheim. At Aqua Nor 2023 Danish exhibitors showcase innovative products and solutions for an efficient and sustainable aquaculture.
On 22-24 August, Aqua Nor in Trondheim is the place to be for stakeholders, professionals and decision-makers of the aquaculture industry. Once again, the Pavilion of Denmark presents a wide range of strong suppliers to the industry who are ready to showcase their products and solutions to the Norwegian and global aquaculture industry.
Danish suppliers to the industry are well known for innovative solutions to optimise aquaculture and the related processing of fish. At the same time, Danish companies have through innovation and cooperation with key stakeholders become front runners when it comes to providing sustainable solutions.
The Danish exhibitors are looking to expand their activities in the growing Norwegian market as well as in the rest of the world.
“Aqua Nor is the most important meeting place for the industry and the 36 Danish exhibitors on Pavilion of Denmark represent solutions for many areas of the value chain in aquaculture. Danish companies have great knowledge and experience and can therefore provide high quality efficient and sustainable solutions to the industry,” says Matin Winkel Lilleøre, Head of Fish Tech at the Danish Export Association who organises the Pavilion of Denmark.
Danish exhibitors bring for instance pumping systems, monitors, filtration, water treatment and other products and solutions to secure a healthy environment and energy efficiency in land-based aquaculture. At the Pavilion of Denmark, you can among other find manufacturers of tank solutions and equipment for processing the fish.
Feed to prevent disease
One of the exhibitors is feed producer Aller Aqua who is present in many countries around the world with a wide range of feed tailor-made to specific species and farming conditions. At Aqua Nor, Aller Aqua will present a brand-new formula from their SUPPORT™ range of functional feeds which has proven to reduce winter sores and jaw infections in farmed salmon.
As one of the first in the world Aller Aqua can calculate and verify the full carbon footprint of feed and enable farmers to include for their own use.
”We want to enable our customers to compare CO2 emissions between competing products. Therefore, we work with aquaculture stakeholders to create a standard across the sector,” says Henrik T. Halken, GVP at Aller Aqua.
Solutions for the future
Aller Aqua Research Centre employees will be in Trondheim too to discuss trends and new tech and present the latest R&D news. And as the growth rate of aquaculture globally is expected to increase further in the years to come, research and development is highly needed. By 2025 the share of the aquaculture industry in global fish production is expected to reach 52 percent and thus surpassing wild catch fisheries.
It means the demand for the innovative Danish products and solutions will be higher in the years to come, and this year’s Aqua Nor is a must-attend event for the Danish suppliers and not least the stakeholders from all over the world who are looking for the best solutions for the aquaculture of the future.
More than 25.000 guests from 75 countries are expected to visit Aqua Nor at Trondheim Spektrum during the exhibition on 22-24 August.
