An opportunity has arisen for a young person aged 16-19 years old (official summer school leaver), to work as a Modern Apprentice in the extremely busy Fisheries Section of our Operations Service at Stirling Council. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Rural Skills and other training relevant to the post. You will be required to work alongside the other Fisheries staff and engage with external organisations to ensure the continued high delivery of the service. A basic knowledge of angling, first aid certificate and driving license is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Working out with normal hours will be required. This is a real opportunity to join a team and help conserve migratory fish stocks within the heart of Scotland. We welcome applications from under represented groups.
