MOWI SCOTLAND ORDERS NEW FISH FEED DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

MOWI SCOTLAND ORDERS NEW

Mowi Scotland orders new fish feed distribution system. Tasmanian aquaculture equipment manufacturer, Drysdale Engineering Group, has secured an export order from Mowi Scotland for 10 Fish Feed Spinners.

The Fish Feed Spinner has been designed and manufactured by Drysdale specifically for the aquaculture industry to provide a smoother, more reliable distribution feed system. The system is constructed from stainless steel, and the rotating feed arm can easily be adjusted to alter the spread of feed, providing an excellent distribution rate. It also significantly reduces the rate of feed breakage.

Mowi Scotland have ordered 10 75mm SS 316 Fish Feed Spinners following initial successful trials. John Drysdale of Drysdale Engineering said: “Mowi Scotland had excellent trials and they are really happy with the quality and spread of the pellets throughout the pens.”

David Gray of Mowi Scotland said:

“After initial trials Mowi Scotland has decided to carry out a larger scale trial with the Drysdale Feed Spinners with a view to improve feed presentation along with a better feeding opportunity for our newly stocked smolts.”
