New managing director for Morgère

Pascal Reverseau (47) has been appointed as managing director for French trawl door manufacturer Morgère, and will will take over the full running of the Saint-Malo based company later this year, when the current Director, Michel Dagorn, retires.

Pascal Reverseau brings a wealth of experience to Morgère, and in his most recent role was President of Safran Landing Systems Services at Dinard-Pleurtuit airport, which specialises in the maintenance of landing gear and hydraulic equipment.

Originally from Challans, in Vendée, Pascal currently lives in Dinan and had spent 20 years with Safran. He has a technical and commercial background, and holds a DUT in mechanical engineering and trained at business school.

“I wanted to embark on a new challenge with a company that would provide the opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to enable development and diversification,” he says.

In particular, he is appreciative of the autonomy he will be given by the directors of Morgère’s parent company, Marc Group.

Pascal Reverseau and Michel Dagorn are currently working together until Michel retires at the end of this year. Michel joined Morgère in 2009, and was previously a fisherman, having started his career in 1974. His last vessel was the Morgane Bihan.

Michel said: “It has been a wonderful to work at Morgère and I am delighted that Pascal Reverseau will be taking charge once I retire, as he brings with him much experience and the determination to grow the business.”
