NEW SURIMI STICK PRODUCT LAUNCHED INTO UK MULTIPLE RETAIL SECTOR

New surimi stick product launched into UK multiple retail sector. Viciunai Group has launched a new surimi product into Asda and ALDI stores in the UK.
“Big Stick” – 60 g, which is appearing in Asda stores in September, and which is already sold in ALDI stores, is an unusual size of sticks. In ALDI stores, the new product is being sold at the “Food To Go” stands.
A statement on the Viciunai website said:
“’Grab and go’ or ‘Food To Go’ product refrigerators are currently very popular in English-speaking countries, where you can conveniently purchase snacks for a quick lunch. In the refrigerators until now, you could find small sandwiches, small salad bowls, burritos, sushi, carrot sticks with hummus sauce, small salami sausages or cheese sticks, and from now on – ‘Vičiūnai’ Big Stick surimi sticks.
“Professional knowledge of the market and the ability to predict the future needs of users allowed the team to create a product adapted to a specific market.
“ ‘Vičiūnai” surimi sticks are loved from Latin America to Japan. All 3,000 product names produced by ‘Vičiūnai’ group companies are the result of careful analysis and great effort to understand the taste of different and unique customers.
“We have been operating in the United Kingdom since 2017 and during that time we have definitely found out what is most acceptable for this market. We are delighted that Big Stick will add to the popular Food To Go range and add to our long list of successful products. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of this product.”
Viciunai Group was established in 1991. The company is one of the largest and economically powerful producers of crab taste sticks, surimi products and fish in Europe.
