RUSSIA ALLOCATES SUBSIDIES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CRAB BOATS

Russia allocates subsidies for construction of crab boats. The Russian government has decided to allocate subsidies to stimulate the construction of crab ships at the shipyards of the Far Eastern Federal District. This is stated in the corresponding disposition.
In 2021, 240.38 million rubles will be allocated from the reserve fund of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to reimburse part of the costs. We are talking about the provision of a subsidy for the construction of one vessel.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade must ensure the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of funds no later than 60 working days from the date the order enters into force.
This measure of state support applies to the construction of ships for the crab fleet, which companies are required to build when purchasing production quotas with investment obligations.
