AQUAFUTURE SPAIN PRESENTS ITS FOURTH EDITION

Aquafuture Spain presents its fourth edition, which will bring together more than 200 companies from the aquaculture industry in Vigo.

  • The International Aquaculture Industry Exhibition will be held from May 18 to 20, 2027 at the IFEVI exhibition centre in Vigo. • The fair reinforces its position as the leading professional aquaculture event in Southern Europe and the only one of its kind in Spain. Vigo, June 2026

Aquafuture Spain has begun marketing and promoting its fourth edition, which will take place from May 18 to 20, 2027 at the Vigo Trade Fair Institute (IFEVI).

The International Aquaculture Industry Exhibition will once again transform Vigo into the premier meeting point for companies, institutions, technology centres, and professionals linked to aquaculture worldwide.

Following the success of its last edition, the organisers anticipate the participation of over 200 exhibiting companies from various countries, consolidating the event’s growth and its role as a leading platform for business development, knowledge transfer, and the presentation of technological innovations for the sector.

Aquafuture Spain has become the largest technological, commercial, and educational event for aquaculture in Southern Europe, bringing together the entire value chain of the industry: marine and freshwater aquaculture production, mollusc farming, feed, animal health, equipment, engineering, digitalisation, sustainability, research, and specialised services.

The third edition, held in Vigo in May 2025, attracted over 200 exhibitors from 26 countries and confirmed the international reach of the fair, positioning it among the leading European events in the sector.

Aquafuture Spain 2027 will offer a large exhibition area, conferences, roundtables, business presentations, and networking activities designed to analyse the challenges and opportunities of global aquaculture. Key topics for discussion include sustainability, technological innovation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence applied to production, the blue economy, and the internationalisation of companies. The organisers expect to surpass the participation figures of previous editions and reinforce the position of Vigo and Galicia as international leaders in the marine economy and the aquaculture industry. Companies interested in participating as exhibitors or sponsors can now request information and reserve space for this edition, which will once again bring together the main players in the global aquaculture sector.
