ICELANDIC FISHERIES AQUA & SEAFOOD EXHIBITION 2024 OPENS TODAY!

Icelandic Fisheries Aqua & Seafood Exhibition 2024 opens today! The Icelandic Fisheries Seafood & Aqua Exhibition (IceFish), opens its doors today and will welcome exhibitors and attendees from around the world, at Smárinn, Kópavogur, Iceland. The official opening ceremony will commence at 14:00.
Celebrating 40 years of the event, this year IceFish will showcase the industry’s newest technologies, products and services to both attendees and potential customers from a range of commercial fisheries organisations and associated businesses. Icefish will be celebrating this special 40 year occasion by honouring longstanding exhibitors who attended back in 1984! The exhibition continues to grow with 2024 seeing 57 brand new exhibitors from 14 different countries.
This year’s IceFish exhibition will include:
- A new presentation area for exhibitors to discuss their latest innovations, projects and services.
- A launches and demo’s schedule to give attendees the opportunity to organise their agenda and who they want to see at the exhibition.
- Industry variety as the sector continues the move into processing of seafood.
- Free matchmaking meetings for visitors and exhibitors, organised by the Sector Group Maritime Industries & Services of the Enterprise Europe Network Iceland, and co-organised by Rannis.
- The 9th Icefish awards on 18 September, recognising excellence in the industry.
The exhibition will be officially opened by Bjarkey Olsen Gunnarsdottir, Icelandic Minister of Food, Fisheries and Agriculture.
