INTEREST GROWS IN FEED SPINNERS

Interest grows in feed spinners for fish farming. Tasmanian aquaculture equipment manufacturer, Drysdale Engineering Group, has just completed an order from New Zealand for their 3″ inch Stainless Steel Feed Spinners.

The Fish Feed Spinner has been designed and manufactured specifically for the aquaculture industry to provide a smoother, more reliable distribution feed system. It has reduced the rate of feed breakage to a level of just 0.063%, claims the company.

Constructed from stainless steel, the rotating feed arm can easily be adjusted to alter the spread of feed to suit requirements, and produces an excellent distribution rate. Complete with a HDPE float, the spinner is suitable for all conditions and temperatures.

John Drysdale, owner and Managing Director Drysdale Engineering said: “Comments and feedback from managers, who have implemented our feed spinners are very positive.”

“We have supplied over 500 of these units to aquaculture farms within Tasmania and over 50 units to fish farms in New Zealand and are now receiving enquiries from the global aquaculture market” he added
