IRISH SKIPPER EXPO – NEW LAYOUT, NEW PLANS

IRISH SKIPPER EXPO – NEW LAYOUT

Irish Skipper Expo – new layout, new plans. As ever, the organisers of Irish Skipper Expo continue to follow the motto, Your Industry Your Show, taking great strides to evolve the show in a way that reflects the changing nature of the industry while also catering to the needs of our exhibitors and visitors.

With the announcement that the Irish Skipper Expo will now run every two years, this year’s exhibition is widely anticipated across the industry, with virtually every type of equipment and support services represented.

Taking place on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd March at UL Sport Limerick, this year’s show is sponsored by the Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) and Arachas Corporate Brokers will mark 20 years since the first Irish Skipper exhibition, with both visitors and exhibitors citing the event as the most widely anticipated fishing exhibition of the year.

With over 125 companies booked to date from 10 different countries, the 2025 Irish Skipper Expo will also see a new show layout to maximise the viewing potential of each stand and to allow for more companies to have the opportunity to exhibit.

As Sharon Boyle, Commercial Fishing Manager with show organiser Mara Media says:

“From creels to trawls, electronics, vessels on display, safety wear, deck machinery, engines and propellers to name a few – the Irish Skipper Expo has it all!”

Sharon continues:

“With the show moving to every two years after 2025, it is wonderful to see such strong exhibitor interest, which will ensure that this will be a fabulous show for everyone. We are delighted that the Irish Skipper Expo has become renowned for being such a great place to do business in a relaxed setting.

Mara Media is also thrilled to announce the introduction of Seafood Tasters at the show.  NIFA (National Inshore Fishermen’s Association) is delighted to bring tasters of their main Inshore products to the Irish Skipper Expo 2025 in Limerick. What better way could they showcase products from their members?  Visit their stand H12 where they will have freshly prepared seafood to whet the appetite. Some of their directors will be on hand to chat to you and answer any questions you may have.

Visitor Registration for the event is now opened on our website, this gives you the chance to complete the process early and beat the queues on the day.

The Pre-Registration service has been a part of the Irish Skipper Expo since the 2022. With the positive feedback that was given back by visitors who attended, they commented how it added professionalism to the show as well as making entry on the day more enjoyable with a smoother process.

Entry to the Expo is free for all visitors, while you can register on the day, we encourage you to take advantage of the visitor Pre-Registration. This offers visitors quicker access to the show, giving you more time to browse the show floor.
