MØRENOT NAMES TROND WILLIKSEN AS NEW CHAIRMAN

Mørenot names Trond Williksen as new chairman. Mørenot has appointed Trond Williksen as chairman of the company’s board, replacing Espen Asheim who will stay on as a board member. Williksen has extensive industry experience, including as chief executive officer of SalMar, AKVA group and the fishing operations of Aker.
“Mørenot is an exciting company that’s solidly positioned for further growth in key markets internationally,” Williksen said. “I look forward to contributing the company’s future development.”
FSN Capital acquired a majority stake in Mørenot in March 2018. Together with the founding families and the company management, FSN has developed the company further, both organically and through acquisitions, including the acquisition announced last week of Bøteriet AS in Steigen in northern Norway.

The company’s strategic goal is to be the largest total supplier of in-sea towing and handling equipment for the marine seismic industry.
