New funding partner for GSSIThe Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative has announced that Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) has joined the GSSI Global Partnership as a Funding Partner.

CPF is an agro-industrial and food conglomerate headquartered in Thailand. CPF operates a vertically integrated business in 16 countries and exports products from Thailand to over 30 countries.

“CPF is delighted to join the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative, the unique multi-stakeholder platform aiming to build confidence and promote improvement in certified seafood,” said Dr. Sujint Thammasart, Chief Operating Officer, Aquaculture Business. “We look forward to collaborating with stakeholders in the seafood supply chain from across the globe to achieve more sustainable seafood for everyone.”
