NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO FOR THAI UNION NORTH AMERICA

NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

New president and CEO for Thai Union North America. Thai Union Group PCL (Thai Union) business and Thai Union North America (TUNA) has appointed Bryan Rosenberg to the role of President and CEO of Thai Union North America, responsible for its two key North America operating companies, Chicken of the Sea International (COSI) and Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods (COSFF), in response to the resignation of COSI President & CEO, Valentin Ramirez, effective June 5.

Chicken of the Sea was the first international acquisition made by Thai Union and the TUNA business has been a strong foundation and cornerstone of the Group since that acquisition. COSI and COSFF share a great number of synergies with shared business objectives and have been very successful in collaborating across companies. This appointment will allow for further synergies across TUNA to unlock even greater potential of both businesses.

Thiraphong Chansiri, President & CEO of Thai Union Group, PLC, stated:

“Our business in North America continues to provide the greatest portion of revenue for Thai Union, globally. This fact is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff across all our businesses. By appointing Bryan Rosenberg to the President and CEO of TUNA responsible for both COSI and COSFF businesses, we believe we can continue to drive revenues and innovation to firmly take us into the next decade of TUNA’s evolution. Bryan has a proven track record of accomplishments in building and leading COSFF. We believe he will bring those tremendous successes into his new expanded role”.

Thiraphong Chansiri, continued:

“We want to thank Valentin for his work to reinvigorate the COSI business for our organisation and we wish him all the very best in the future”.

The TUNA organizational structure will see additional changes to the senior management team to better facilitate the reporting and management structure. The changes will be effective as of June 5, 2020 and the new organisation will continue to maintain its primary headquarters in El Segundo, California.
