SALMON SANDWICH

Salmon sandwich. For this recipe you don’t need a food processor to make good burgers. You just finely chop the salmon, mix with spices and fry in butter.

Prep and cooking time: 30-40 minutes

Makes 4 burgers

Skill level: Easy

Ingredients

400g salmon fillet, skinned and deboned
1tbsp finely chopped chives.
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Butter

Dressing

4tbsp cream cheese with herbs
1tbsp single cream

Serve with

4 slices of wholemeal bread
Lettuce leaves
Tomato
Cucumber

Method

  • Finely chop the salmon and mix with finely chopped chives, salt and pepper.
  • Make burgers and fry golden in butter, approx. 2-3 minutes on each side.

Dressing

  • Mix cream cheese and cream to an even dressing.

Serve with

  • Toast the slices of bread on a fry frying pan or in a toaster.
  • Slice tomato and cucumber.
  • Cut each slice of bread in half and place a burger on one half with salad, tomato and cucumber.
  • Add a spoon of dressing and cover with the other slice of bread.

Serve immediately.
