SCOTTISH FISHERIES MUSEUM LAUNCHES ST. AYLES ALE

SCOTTISH FISHERIES MUSEUM LAUNCHES

Scottish Fisheries Museum Launch St Ayles Ale. The Scottish Fisheries Museum are delighted to say that, in conjunction with the brewer Ovenstone 109, we have a new Golden Ale to celebrate the museum’s 50th Golden Anniversary. The new St Ayles Ale was launched at the Ship Tavern, on Thursday the 18th of July.

It was a packed venue as special guest King Creosote performed and everyone enjoyed the latest event and new beer from the Scottish Fisheries Museum. 10p from every bottle and £6 from every cask of beer sold comes back to the museum to support the continuation of what we do.

The brew will not only be available from the Ship Tavern. It is also available to buy from Ardross Farm Shop now, the Pittenweem Hub on Monday the 22nd of July and more locations coming soon, as well as the brewers own online shop. Ovenstone 109 has made the Golden Ale refreshingly quaffable! It merges some of the aspects from two other Ovenstone 109 brews with a bit of Terra Nova body to it with the crisp refreshing aspect of Fifie. We’re really delighted with it!!

“We’re delighted to be involved with the Scottish Fisheries Museum in producing their new beer! Having grown up visiting the museum several times it’s fantastic to be involved in the production and promotion of the St Ayles brand and keeping it all local to the East Neuk.’”
