SEAROBOTICS’ QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFIED BY NORTH AMERICAN ACCREDITATION BUREAU

SEAROBOTICS’ QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFIED

SeaRobotics’ Quality Management System certified by North American Accreditation Bureau. SeaRobotics Corporation (SeaRobotics), a leading developer of marine robotics and autonomous systems, today announced the company’s successful ISO 9001:2015 certification of its quality management system (QMS). ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognised quality management standard developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), which sets the criteria for which large or small companies, regardless of the primary field of activity, should comply to implement and maintain a quality management system (QMS).

The ongoing application and auditing of SeaRobotics’ QMS will help establish a validated framework of processes and procedures that ensure clients and collaborators benefit from continued operational excellence, quality improvement, and accountability.

SeaRobotics’ ISO 9001:2015 certification was awarded by the Internal Auditors Inc. (IAI) and accredited by North American Accreditation Bureau Inc. (NAAB) based on the examination of seven core quality management principles: 1) customer focus; 2) leadership; 3) engagement of people; 4) process approach; 5) continuous improvement; 6) evidence-based decision making; and 7) relationship management. IAI concluded that SeaRobotics’ processes, policies, and procedures fully align with the international standards prescribed by ISO 9001:2015.

“SeaRobotics’ successful ISO 9001:2015 certification marks an exciting milestone in the company’s 25-year history and serves as a testament to its established track record of providing customers with advanced marine robotics technologies and support services,” said SeaRobotics President Don Darling. “Under our certified QMS, the team at SeaRobotics will continue to prioritise a systematic approach to driving ongoing quality improvement, increased efficiencies, and enhanced customer service as we seek to help clients integrate robotic and autonomous systems into their ways of working in marine environments.” For more information, visit www.searobotics.com.
