SKIPPER EXPO INTERNATIONAL ABERDEEN 2019
Skipper Expo International Aberdeen 2019 gets underway tomorrow. With a sell-out attendance of 230 exhibitors from 22 different countries, Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019 gets underway tomorrow (17 and 18 May).
This will be the biggest Aberdeen show ever for organiser Mara Media, bringing together under one roof a comprehensive variety of equipment suppliers and support services for the commercial fishing industry.
Sponsored by the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation, the line-up features 40 first time exhibitors, ensuring there will be plenty new companies to interest visitors, and highlights will include the ever-popular seafood tasting stand hosted by Boxpool Solutions and safety demos from the RNLI.
Over 20 shipyards are also exhibiting, underlying the current optimism in Scottish fishing today, with skippers looking to invest in new vessels.
The expo will be officially opened by Scottish Fisheries Secretary Fergus Ewing on Friday 17 May, who will then tour the exhibition hall.
Sharon Boyle of show organiser Mara Media says: “We are thrilled that there has been so much interest in Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019. There is a real international flavour this year, and it promises to be a fantastic expo. We look forward to welcoming exhibitors and visitors to Scotland’s flagship fisheries event.”
Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2019 will be held at the AECC on 17 and 18 May, opening times 10am to 6pm on Friday 17 May and 10am to 4pm on Saturday 18 May.
