UAPF AND MARINE INSTRUMENTS ANNOUNCE A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

UAPF AND MARINE INSTRUMENTS

UAPF and Marine Instruments announce a strategic partnership to support the future of French Maritime Fisheries.  The Union of French Fishing Vessel Owners (UAPF), the professional organisation representing maritime fishing vessel owners, is pleased to announce the signing of a partnership with Marine Instruments, a leader in technological solutions for more efficient and sustainable fishing.

Amid a transition toward more responsible and sustainable fishing practices, the UAPF reaffirms its commitment to preparing for the future by providing vessel owners with strengthened support toward efficient, environmentally respectful practices that contribute to France’s food sovereignty. This partnership marks a concrete first step in the integration of innovative technological solutions that will facilitate vessel management—from catch reporting to at-sea controls—while supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of the French fisheries sector.

Xavier LEDUC, President of the UAPF:

“By partnering with Marine Instruments, we aim to provide our members with reliable and innovative tools that respond directly to their daily needs and to the present and future challenges of a sustainable, competitive, and technologically modern maritime fishery. This partnership reflects our commitment to remain at the forefront of industry developments and to safeguard the future of our sector.”

Pierrick SALAUN, Key Account Manager at Marine Instruments:

“We are proud to partner with the UAPF to support French vessel owners in their transition toward more sustainable and connected fishing. Our tracking, localisation, and oceanographic analysis technologies help optimise operations at sea, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact, while reinforcing both fleet safety and competitiveness. Together, we are shaping the maritime fishery of tomorrow.”
