18 International Start-Ups Shaking Up the Blue Value Chain

The Blue Food Innovation Summit in London will showcase the most exciting innovations emerging from across the world, hand-picked for their scalable solutions.

Five seed stage entrepreneurs will pitch their solutions on stage in the Start-Up Showcase:

• Part of the Yield Lab cohort, Flonergia Systems (Canada)has developed an enery and cost-efficient pump systems providing an alternative to existing centrifugal pumping and aeration systems.
• Ocean Twist Biotechology (Italy)enhances fish welfare and aquaculture productivity with their circular high-performance protein feed ingredients.

• FP Aquaculture and Ocean Health (Denmark)offers a machine learning-powered microscope technology that detects harmful plankton and micro jellyfish, providing early warnings and enabling timely preventive actions.
• Mariculture Systems (Israel) has developed an innovative offshore fish farming platform designed to withstand extreme maritime conditions, including waves up to 17 meters high.
• Mercia Nanosolutions (UK)are a nanobubble generator manufacturer, their product is capable of aeration and oxygenation in aquaculture applications.
• Nobify (Israel) deters migratory birds efficiently from large aquatic areas, boosting aquaculture Yields by 25 percent and strengthening global food & water security.
