The programme featured insights on global blue AI applications presented by Axel Olafsson, the Cluster’s AI project intern, alongside inspiring success stories from Icelandic companies already leading the change.

Among these pioneers were GreenFish, Hefring Marine, LearnCove, and Oceans of Data, whose innovative use of AI is transforming how we create and capture value in the blue economy. Their work demonstrates that artificial intelligence is not only shaping the present but also unlocking new possibilities for sustainable growth in the ocean sector.
