GARWARE CHILE STRENGTHENS ITS TEAM WITH A NEW EXECUTIVE

GARWARE CHILE STRENGTHENS ITS TEAM

Garware Chile strengthens its team with a new executive. The new hire was in India, participating in the international business meeting, the annual company day celebration, and an induction for the Garware team to learn about the facilities and its key players.

Garware Technical Fibres Chile has added Ricardo Gálvez Oyarce, strengthening its chilean sales team. His hiring aims to contribute to the company’s growth and competitiveness in a key market. “In Chile, we’ve experienced sustained growth over the last decade, and with our innovation, we’ve transformed the products used in the salmon farming industry. Ricardo’s arrival seeks to strengthen Garware’s growth and expansion, in line with our commercial strategy and the goal of maintaining and deepening our customer service. Our innovation process begins with the voice of the customer, and we work closely together. At Garware, we look to the short, medium, and long term to identify new opportunities with our current and potential customers in a constantly evolving environment facing increasing challenges. Ricardo’s experience and skills will help us execute our mission and objectives,” said Gopakumar Menon, President of Americas for Garware Technical Fibres.

Ricardo Gálvez holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Chile and a master’s degree in business administration from the Austral University of Chile. He previously worked in areas such as maritime brokerage, industrial waste management, the development of new business lines and new markets, and in the commercial areas of Ventisqueros and Procter & Gamble. “This is a new challenge for me in my career, and I approach it with great enthusiasm. Garware has high-quality products and is implementing best practices in innovation, sustainability, market expansion, and great teamwork, and I will focus on adding value to the sales team,” Gálvez states.

Recently, the new executive participated in India—where the company’s headquarters and factories are located—in an international business meeting, the celebration of the company’s annual day, and an induction for the Garware team to learn about the company and its key players.

It is worth noting that the company has also begun selling nets for sports, agriculture, security, and industrial applications in Chile. Overall, the team expansion will help Garware stay even closer to its customers, understand their operational challenges, and solve them with new products. www.garwarefibres.cl
