Green financing as a tool for sustainable seafood development. GOAL 2021 Virtual Event Session 7, ‘Green Financing as a Tool for Sustainable Seafood Development,’ is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This session will provide a status report on green debt financing in the salmon-farming sector, which has experienced a 17-fold increase in green bonds and loans in the past two years. This session will provide a banker’s view of the sustainable bond market for seafood.
Speakers include Per Heggelund of Kuttera, Oyumaa de Jong of Rabobank, Tony Chen of Manolin, and Freyr Thordarson and Robert Christensen of DNB. Moderated by Heggelund and GSA’s George Chamberlain.
