AQUAEXPO 2024 ran until Thursday at the Guayaquil Convention Centre.
It is the most important shrimp technical commercial event on the continent that has been held for more than 20 years in Ecuador; organised by the National Chamber of Aquaculture, with the main objective of promoting the knowledge and innovation of the aquaculture community, on a global scale.
It is made up of a trade fair and a scientific-technical congress. Hundreds of Ecuadorian and foreign companies participate in the fairgrounds, exhibiting the highlights of their portfolio of products and services. The congress addresses topics of interest and importance to the aquaculture sector such as: disease prevention and management, nutrition and feeding practices, efficiency and technological innovations, crop diversification, genetic improvement, market trends, etc. Researchers and aquaculture professionals from all over the world participate, presenting their latest research and technological advances.
