TWO NEW KOSMOS ORDERS FOR AUCXIS

Two New KOSMOS Orders

Two New Kosmos Orders – KOSMOS is more and more defined as the auction system of the future

This spring Aucxis received two new KOSMOS orders from Plymouth Trawler Agents and Don Fishing from the British fishing industry. The Dutch fruit and vegetable auction ZON has also decided to make the switch: this will be the first fruit and vegetable auction in the Benelux using KOSMOS.

After the successful integration of our online trading platform KOSMOS at Brixham Trawler Agents, Stevenson Newlyn and Shetland Seafood Auctions, Plymouth Trawler Agents has also decided to digitise its sale with KOSMOS. This loyal customer – in 1998 the first fish auction in the UK which integrated an Aucxis auction solution – has ordered 1 clock for 250 users. KOSMOS will be used on the existing Aucxis terminals and tablets at both landing locations Plymouth and Looe. The rollout of this standard KOSMOS project with all available functionalities is planned for this autumn.

Sales agent Don Fishing asked Aucxis to integrate KOSMOS at the Scottish Peterhead Fish Market, the most important European port for white fish and also the largest fish auction in the UK. For many decades, this traditional shout auction has been reluctant as regards automation but relies on KOSMOS to take the plunge now.

Don Fishing chooses to sell the lots of fish via the KOSMOS shout auction mode and to go all out for the presales and aftersales functionalities:

  • Predefined prebids can be charged during the shout auction;
  • Fast and error-free processing of the transaction data during the sale;
  • Buyers and suppliers log in to request their reports in real time.

The delivery of the requested KOSMOS modules is scheduled for early 2022.
