WIRONS LTD MARKS 100 EXPORT LOADS OUT OF HULL AND GRIMSBY

Wirons Ltd marks 100 export loads out of Hull and Grimsby. 5,000 tonnes of frozen pelagic fish successfully delivered into Hull and Grimsby.

Fishing Company Wirons Ltd, part of North Atlantic Holdings Ltd, which produces high quality and sustainably sourced fish to help feed the world’s growing population, has delivered a landmark 100 export loads out of the Humber region, following 11 successful landings into Hull and Grimsby.

In the 2022-23 period, the vessels Wiron 5 and Wiron 6 landed close to 5,000 tonnes of frozen pelagic fish for human consumption into Constellation UK Ltd.’s cold store facilities in Grimsby. The operations have been made possible by partnerships with other key industry players in the Humber region, including Sutcliffe’s Port Agents, RMS Stevedores, Maritime Road haulage and Edge Worldwide Customs specialists.  This partnership has developed an efficient landings and export process that has delivered fish caught by UK flagged vessel to customers worldwide.

Fishing Company Wiron’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards in handling and storage ensures that the fish – exported to countries including the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, Moldova, and Egypt – reaches customers in optimal condition, preserving its quality and taste.
