VCU APPOINTS VEST-EL AS OFFICIAL DEALER FOR DENMARK FOR VCU CATCHMANAGEMENT SYSTEM

VCU appoints Vest-El as official dealer for Denmark for VCU CatchManagement System. VCU (www.vcu.nl), the fishing technology specialist based in Urk, The Netherlands, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Vest-El (www.vest-el.dk), a leading marine electronics company located in Thyborøn and Hvide Sande, Denmark.

As from June 2025, Vest-El is the official dealer for Denmark for the VCU CatchManagement system – VCU’s onboard weighing and registration solution for the fishing industry. With this collaboration, VCU expands its presence into the Danish market, addressing growing demand for robust, user-friendly, and highly accurate onboard weighing systems for fishing vessels.

The VCU CatchManagement system is already used on the majority of active fishing vessels in the North Sea. This comprehensive solution includes motion-compensated marine scales, industrial touchscreen terminals, label printers, and powerful data registration software, designed to meet the daily operational needs of fishermen. Integration with the Danish E-logbook
In addition to the dealership, VCU also announces the implementation of a direct (automated) link between the VCU CatchManagement system and the Danish E-logbook. With just one push of a button, catch data can now be seamlessly transferred into the E-logbook, significantly reducing manual input and simplifying reporting for skippers.
