AquaFuture Spain 2022 Reaches Capacity for Exhibitors

The organisers of the international aquaculture fair AquaFuture Spain¨22 have confirmed after several extensions to the initial exhibitor floor plan, they are now at capacity for the exhibition with more than 150 companies representing a total of 24 countries worldwide.

The international aquaculture fair AquaFuture Spain¨22 which will be the first aquaculture event to be held in Spain since 2010 will take place from March 23 to 25 this year at the ABANCA International Fair of Galicia.

The exhibition organisers, OK Eventos, have confirmed that the response from the aquaculture industry far outweighed their expectations with an initial target of 80 companies exhibiting has now closed at 150, with 24 different countries from Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America and South Africa being represented.

These companies will make up the ExpoFuture, an exhibition space for companies and other entities linked to the aquaculture value chain, where they can present the latest market innovations and promote the establishment of business lines and synergies.

As well as suppliers to the aquaculture industry there will be a number of official bodies and public institutions represented who support the sector and its commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.

TECHNICAL CONFERENCES PROGRAM

Within the framework of AquaFuture Spain’22, the aim is to promote innovation and the transfer of knowledge among stakeholders, offering a program of technical conferences oriented to the themes that currently mark the trends in the aquaculture sector, in terms of challenges and innovations From the market. A space in which participants can immerse themselves in cutting-edge topics and debate with the different links in the value chain about the challenges that today underlie the sector in terms of innovation and technology, always under the approach of sustainability from a triple dimension: economic, social and environmental.

This space is coordinated by the ACUIPLUS Cluster, as an entity that knows closely the challenges of the aquaculture sector and brings together the representatives of the value chain with the mission of contributing to a competitive, innovative and sustainable aquaculture.

The technical conference program is made up of three groups  for different from  activities, adapted to the interests of exhibitors and visitors. Each group will have its own and are described below

1.- CONFERENCE ROOM CARMEN SARASQUETE

   “It will host 6 sessions in round table format with a moderator and 4 speakers each”

2.- ABANCA PRESENTATION ROOM

    “will host 25 presentations from exhibiting companies

3.- XACOBEO SHOW COOKING ROOM 21-22

    “It will host 6 culinary demonstrations of aquaculture products”

Great interest from the sector to visit Aquafuture Spain´22

In addition to a high demand from companies to participate in Aquafuture Spain, the organization is also receiving numerous requests for accreditation from companies, large and small producers, researchers and other professionals in the aquaculture sector to visit a fair that is professional in nature and has high expectations of national and international influx.
