GSSI WELCOMES COMEPESCA

GSSI welcomes COMEPESCA to its Global Partnership. The Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative is pleased to announce that COMEPESCA has joined GSSI as an Affiliated Partner.

COMEPESCA, through the #PescaConFuturo movement, reaffirms its commitment to promoting responsible fishing and aquaculture practices in Mexico, fostering the conservation of marine ecosystems, and ensuring the sustainable development of aquaculture communities.

About COMPESCA
COMEPESCA, the Mexican Council for the Promotion of Wild and Aquaculture Seafood, created in 2003, is a civil society integrated by businessmen from the productive and commercial chain of the fisheries and aquaculture sector. It is made up by aquaculture farmers, shipowners, processors, distributors, and traders of fishery and aquaculture products around the country, including different educational, scientific, and professional organisms.
