MED FISH FARMER EXPLORES JOINT OPPORTUNITIES

MED FISH FARMER EXPLORES

Med fish farmer explores joint opportunities. During a recent power lunch at the US Embassy in Athens, leaders of the public administrations of Greece and the US came together with Greek fish farmer AVRAMARAMERRA Capital, and several other key players to strengthen the bilateral bonds and explore joint opportunities.

In the increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape, state leaders and the private sector must come together to find solutions to global challenges, such as stabilising food supply while safeguarding the ambitious plans to de-carbonise energy production.

For New York-based AMERRA Capital, one of two investors behind AVRAMAR, bilateral investment in sustainable and resilient food systems is a top priority. The company’s vision is to establish an aquaculture powerhouse to lead the way in Mediterranean healthy protein production, starting in Greece.

For AVRAMAR, the leader of Mediterranean aquaculture, the aim is to explore possibilities of joint initiatives between Greek and US public administrations to accelerate the company’s mission to provide the world with better fish for better lives.

AMERRA Capital and AVRAMAR co-chaired the event hosted by US Ambassador for Greece, the Honourable Mr. Tsunis.
