NAVIGATING A VOLATILE LANDSCAPE

NAVIGATING A VOLATILE LANDSCAPE

Navigating a volatile landscape. The conflict in the Middle East is now entering its second month. While there have been attempts at diplomatic engagement, progress remains fragile and the overall situation continues to be marked by uncertainty.

As a result, the broader effects are becoming increasingly visible, including in areas that directly impact the seafood industry such as energy markets, logistics flows and wider food price volatility.

For the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) – both globally and here in the UK- an important priority is to develop a clear understanding of what these developments mean for the food and seafood categories as a whole, and for Norwegian seafood specifically.

Throughout April, Bjørn-Erik Stabell. Country Director, UK for the Norwegian Seafood Council, will be conducting a series of meetings to build a more detailed picture of the potential implications for the UK market and the scenarios we may need to prepare for.
