NEW CEO FOR ASSOCIATED SEAFOODS LTD

New CEO for Associated Seafoods Ltd. After 15 years as CEO of Scottish seafood producer Associated Seafoods Ltd (ASL), Victor West has decided that the time is right for him to step down from the role and explore new career challenges.

Under Victor’s leadership, the business has grown significantly and built a foundation for continued success.

A statement from the ASL board said:

“We are grateful for Victor’s vision, commitment, and the impact he has made on our journey so far.

“We are pleased that Victor will remain closely involved with the business, taking up a new role as a Non-Executive Director on the main board. This continuity ensures we retain his deep knowledge and experience, while moving the business forward with renewed energy.

“We’re equally excited to announce that Chris Orr will be joining us as our new Chief Executive Officer. Chris brings with him a wealth of experience, a strong track record of leadership in senior and director roles within the food sector, and who exhibits a clear alignment with our values and ambitions.

“In parallel, we are delighted to confirm that our Operations Director Stuart Gibson will be stepping up to the role of Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. Stuart has been a key figure in the development of ASL over the last 10 years and will take on this extended role, shaping the strategic direction of the business alongside Chris.

“This marks an exciting new chapter for our business, building upon the strong foundations the employees and board of directors have all helped to put in place.”
