NINA CLANCY APPOINTED AS CHAIRPERSON

Nina Clancy appointed as chairperson of Scottish Shellfish Marketing Group. The Scottish Shellfish Marketing Group (SSMG) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nina Clancy as its new Chairperson.

Nina is a respected leader in Scottish agriculture with extensive experience in strategy, governance, and rural business transformation. She is currently Interim Operations Manager at HBS Ltd, where she led a major turnaround and merger with Ringlink Scotland. From 2013 to 2022, she was CEO of RSABI, significantly expanding its reach and impact across the farming and crofting sectors. Her background includes building Scotland’s largest NFU Mutual agency and serving as NFU Scotland’s Regional Manager. Nina has held non-executive roles with SAOS, AgriScot, RHASS, and the Border Union Agricultural Society, and is a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies and RSA.

Nina added:

I’m honoured to take on this role and look forward to working with the co-operative’s members to strengthen the sector, champion innovation, and help secure a thriving future for this important and environmentally positive industry.”

Nina’s appointment reflects SSMG’s commitment to strong leadership, sustainable seafood, and promoting Scottish shellfish on the national and international stage.
